It would be cool to have Mara Jade being all badass before the later books destroyed everything.
Now, if we're counting reboots...I wouldn't mind having Harry Potter redone in twenty years or so on an epic Game of Thrones scale where NOTHING is left out and everyone is their correct age.
I'd love to see the epic serial sci-fi/fantasies of our time re-booted. They already started on Star Trek, it'd be so cool to have Star Wars and Harry Potter done. Learn from past mistakes and make them better (think the 1970s LoTR cartoons vs Peter Jackson's LoTR series).
It would be AMAZING to see Star Wars tackled prequel trilogy (if they fix all of what's broken), the original triology & the book trilogy [MARA!], all in order with continuity.
Actually, I think Star Wars: The Clone Wars has been pretty good at fixing the broken stuff especially having a variety of female characters and I think there have even been episodes that passed the Bechdel test.
