I have no idea. Though I'd sometimes like to know why shippers get treated like they are the most idiotic people out there for even shipping them as well.
The drama of fandom idiots who give other fans a bad name :D
Girl, I'd rather be ONLY treated like an idiot than actually know that there are people out there willing to attack me in real life by trying to cost me my job, by vilifying me to everyone and anyone who will listen and to accuse me of planning to actually harm Kristen (because if you didn't know, it's only Kristen haters who don't believe in the relationship).
Now, I will mock those shippers who think their world will end if those two are not together, I will admit to that. I just don't get why it matters so much.
You know, every time I see people whose world begins and ends with anything fandomy - regardless of the fandom in question - I feel better about my own rl. It's lame, but it's there :P
%^($$!! Don't get me started on the notifications :/ but the layout has changed in I think February LOL, I figured there was enough of the Xmassy red :P
OMG, perfect post :D. Well, honestly, I don't care if they are together and my world won't fall down if I'd find out they're not. But I guess that here we can observe the extreme fangirl case. I just wish such diehard fans would leave other people, who don't necessarily ship them alone.
Because if it worked for that couple in HSM, then certainly, it's quite possible with the star-crossed lovers from the series which is Twilight
Notice, I'm just being sarcastic, mind you. =P
But to answer your question, I really don't know. If they want to go out, that's fine and dandy and all. This whole thing just reminds me of the reactions from fans when said star couple from HSM broke up. I think I might have mentioned it before. But it was hell of a crazy!!
I just don't think I'll ever understand how one's happiness can be tied to two people who are complete strangers. I get that people think they know them, but just a bit of sanity should get them out of that.
Then again, I should remember the helplines set up when boybands split...
there are people who watch shows and movies for the entertainment value, like me... yes, I ship people but it's a natural thing to do so, ya know?
Difference? Well, there are three...
1. I do NOT ship REAL LIFE people. If they are together, fine. If not, fine.
2. People who ship real life people do so because they are well, lunatics. I mean, these people have no life. Over half of them are "hardcore" like would "just die if Robert & Kristen break up" etc type stuff.
3. People who ship fictional relationships (this is me), however, they go overboard and will send hate mail, pms, etc etc etc for a) shipping something NOT completely canon (I.E. Michael and Isabel from Roswell or even Max & Maria from Roswell, etc) b) not shipping what they do, if it's canon, etc. THESE people are even worse than the real life shippers because they don't seem to realize these characters are not REAL

Mock away. I do that too because my world doesn't end if they aren't together :)
....and I think it matters because some people need their own life.
Edit: I just realized that your layout looks different. See what happens without notifications ???? I miss everything !!!

Exactly. I mean, there are shippers who make it their mission to "convert" everyone. I guess I didn't realize the Robsten is a religion. #sarcasm
