My seeester, other sister, hubby and I went to see Star Trek Friday night. The theater my seeester picked was not crowded at all, and we didn't have to wait in long lines for tickets or refreshments

I really enjoyed it; it was the best Star Trek movie I've seen.

My dad always loved number 4 - the one with the whales. Gene Roddenberry was so hell-bent on having a time-traveling episode or movie, and he finally got it, although it didn't stop the assassination of a president or anything that would totally alter the time line.

I feel like the time traveling in this movie would have made Gene proud as well. They did alter the time line. And I think it will be interesting to see where it goes.

I liked No. 4 too, I must admit.

We enjoyed it too :) There were only 20 or so other people in the cinema when we saw it. I agree with you about Uhura that didn't sit well with me. Oh and the fact you could clearly see the join between his face and fake forehead above Spock Jnr's left eye, that drove me mad!
