Skary Mack!

Sep 26, 2006 15:31

katytowell ROCKS, I tell you! She took my wonderful, loving son and turned him into a Skary boy. Thanks, Katy! Much love to you!!! I wasn't sure if I should faint, run around squeeing like a giggly banshee, or call all my loved ones to tell them my boy is now a skary boy. I opted for posting the link and pic here.

See the resemblance?

I'm emailing my info to whatever contact info I can find for you...

BTW, I showed it to Mack, and he was VERY excited about it. He asked, "is that me, but like Emmeline?"

Any more books in the works? I was thinking a new story book, autographed just for Mack, would be a most excellent xmas prezzie for him. Plus one for me, of course. Mack has already taken over my autographed copy of The Little Girl, and it's getting a bit on the ratty side. Who'd've thunk he'd love it so much?

You can send it to me at katy@skary.net. :)

The Genevieve book's been started, but a lot of my projects have been put on the back burner while I work on Ida. But trust me! It's on the list! And there will also be Hattie's House, which is going straight to book.

I hadn't thought of that. Good idea. He might even go for it. "What are you, dearie?" "I'm the Skary Neighbor Boy!"

Actually, last night he told me he wanted to be a skeleton. And then, if he couldn't get a skelly costume, he wants to be Jack Sparrow. I'm not sure if I should say WTF? or Awww...

Does he understand about Jack Sparrow and the eyeliner?

Not that I'm applying gender stereotyping, but can a young boy sit still enough to apply it?

While I know Mack can sit quite still for things he truly wants, I think his idea of a Jack Sparrow costume does not include eyeliner.

I rather like the idea of Skary Mack. That would be way fun! I need to sell him on that idea. :)
