of movies and maladies
Last night I introduced Mack to the movie Explorers, which I LOVED when it came out. That was one of my favorite movies in the mid- and late 80s. I had a huge mega-fangirl crush on Ethan Hawke way back then. (After watching Explorers again, I still think Ethan was a cutie-pie.) Mack enjoyed the movie, and asked me to get a copy for him.
After that, we watched two more episodes of Animaniacs. Mack REALLY loves that. I bet he'll love Pinky & the Brain when I finally get that.
Then we went to bed. Mack woke me up around three by vomiting on me. Ugh. Not my idea of the best way to wake up. So he kept on vomiting in the toilet while I tried to get everything cleaned up (me, the bed, me, the floor, me and did I mention me?) Finally we went into the living room (with trash can in tow to catch any projectile bodily fluids) to watch TV (and more Animaniacs). Then around six he started with the runny bodily fluids out of the other end. Great. More stuff for me to clean up. Poor kid had to change his undies and take a shower several times this morning. I've had to do two loads of laundry, and call in sick to work. *sigh* This is not how I wanted to spend my Friday.
At least I get to watch the rest of Animaniacs today. :o)
