Oh I love amnesia stories. This one is heart breaking so far. How horrible for them both. I'm really looking forward to seeing the next part.

Thank you! Amnesia is certainly an interesting idea to explore in fic - when I read the prompt, I was drawn in by the delicious potential for angst on both sides.

Yes - Holmes has lost almost everything, but not that.

The last line, as it happens, was one of the very first bits that I wrote... so I'm especially pleased that you liked it ;)
