I had a goal this year to read 50 books and while I didn't quite make it (I read 34), I DID read a lot of great stuff. So, because you know how much I like my graphics (it's like my form of knitting!), I picked a few of my favorite books of 2010 and made them into pretties.

I'm going to spread my favs over a few posts. I'm going to start with the ( Read more... )

I'm listening to It's Not Summer Without You on audio right now, and the actress who reads does SUCH an amazing job. You are right - Jenny is a master at voice. So, so good.

I've never heard of these books before, but you make them sound great! I love the fact that they're simplistic, plot-wise. As fun as complex stories are, the less hooky stories deserve time in the spotlight, too!

I totally agree. Sometimes you need a book that's light and fun and cozy. These books fit the bill. And the third one comes out in April, not May like I said. Woot!!

I bought THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY on my Kindle as soon as I read your post (oh the dangers of the Kindle...) and I can't wait to read it! As much as I love heavy, complicated books, it's wonderful to have a light, fun read to enjoy in between. :)

I'm jealous. Because you have a Kindle and because you have the Summer books to read brand new! ;)

Seriously though, I hope you get as much enjoyment out of reading those books as I did. And the third one comes out in April, not May! Woot!
