The List of Happenings

There were several things I wanted to talk about in this post, several things that don't relate at all to each other. So I'll just make a list.

1. I hit a deer Sunday night. It's the first time it's happened to me. Really, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. In the newspaper, in the police records section, sixteen car-deer accidents were reported ( Read more... )

I really should be rooting for the bank too. Plus it's close to home, so I could walk or ride my bike there and save on gas. We'll see how it goes!

Hey, have you been watching LG15? I got bored. I haven't watched like the last 15 episodes and was wondering if I'd missed anything super important. I'm thinking not.

And I'm really rooting for you and AYW!

I'm not watching LG actually. After that whole weird Emma thing I just....eh. And I miss Bree. Without her it's just Hot Jonas & Co.

Read Nickel and Dimed by Barbara Ehrenreich. She writes a whole chapter about working there. You deserve better.

I will have to read it. The thing is, around here, jobs are SO scarce. Like, the help wanted section in the newspaper lists only about six-eight jobs a day and half of those are RNs or special trades jobs. It sucks. I guess I'll go to the interview and see what happens, since it's already scheduled. But I'll root for the bank job!

Right after DH and I started dating, my parents hit a deer. My mom called me, sobbing, and I was certain a person had died...but no, it was just a deer. I mean, I like deer too, but I don't usually get all weepy. But this is the same woman who used to cry when she had to flush our fish down the toilet...:) I'm glad you and car are fine! Enjoy your chocolate :D
