Dresses Galore

Jan 29, 2006 21:36

Yesterday was a fun day. I met up with Michelle and my future MIL at the bridal salon that I had gone to by myself a few months ago. I wanted to show them the dress that I really liked from when I went the first time (and I wanted to get pictures in it since I didn't before). I ended up trying it on first to show them, and I still really liked ( Read more... )

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE that third dress! The blue beading is SO pretty! I love it with the blue colored bridesmaid dress (the first one). It adds just that little touch. I love the corset back on you, too. It makes alterations MUCH easier!

PS - Dress #2 is my dress :o)

hehe- thank you. I love it just about as much as you expressed. haha

I think the only alterations I would need is a hem.

That's your dress? The one I'm wearing must be a knock-off then because the designer definitely wasn't Maggie. But, now that I think about it, it does look just like yours.

LOL It's beautiful. I've never seen anything like it. It's just got the perfect amount of color. I can imagine that it'd TOTALLY bring out any blues you had in the bouquet, too. I wish I could've found a dress with pink beading! LOL Oh well ( ... )

haha- everything you said is just so ture. All reasons why I love it.

It was just a little more than $600. Not bad at all.

You got a great deal on your Maggie, I think. The knock-off I tried on was a little under $700.

hhhm.. they all look gorgeous. i love the detail on your favorite (the 3rd wedding dress). but i love how the first and second one look too. it's all about the comfort though because you'll be in this dress all day long. and if you think the 3rd one is the comfy-est, i'd go with that one.
as for the bridesmaid's dresses, i LOVE the second and third one. gorgeous!

all 3 dresses fit so well that it was hard to decide which looked best. I actually liked the 3rd one least at first, but when I went and stood and front of the mirror and saw the whole effect, I just loved it so much, and the more/longer I wore it, the more I loved it.

And, those 2 bridesmaid dresses top our list as of now. :)

i think the one with the blue beading is the best. it would be perfect if you had blue as your main color!

thanks, Amy. I think so too. It would just add to all the blue.

Thanks!

I'm not sure why you don't like any of them, but that's okay. This was our first go around with bridesmaid dresses. We were just trying to get an idea of all the different styles and colors. We actually don't have to decide on anything for sure until the end of the year, so we have plenty of time to find something that we love.

And, I <3 you too!

iono i think its bc they didnt seem to fit her body right...like they were too big for her and a lot of times i dont like formal outfits on people until it completely fits them kinda thing...if that makes sense

totally! Many of them were too big. You could see in some (but not all) of the pictures that we had to clip the back of a few of them because of the size.

That 3rd dress is unbelievable. You look so beautiful in it. I think it's perfect. :)

And honestly, I think the bridesmaid's dress I liked best is the one you had on in that pic where you and Michelle traded off. The draping on the bodice matches the draping on your dress and the color would be great with the beading. Also the chiffon skirting is great and very forgiving for figure flaws since it flows so wonderfully, in case any of your bridesmaids were concerned about something fitted. Satin has a way of making any unflattering areas of the body pop right out at you. Chiffon softens them. But that's just my crazy opinion. :)

Anything you choose will be amazing. You look like an angel.
