My friend recommended this website to me, Zenni Optical and I just ordered myself 3 new pair of glasses for $65 (including shipping)! That is less than half the sticker price of the last pair I bought from my eye doctor and I won't even compare them to the amount I paid for my Prada ones a few years ago. I will admit that I love buying new glasses ( Read more... )

I should check that site out. I love my glasses and I think paying $300 for frames and lenses is cheap (though I'm legally blind without glasses and cannot see how many fingers I hold up if I hold up my own hand!). I have a frame I love right now, have it in black and brown and just get new lenses for it.

I really love the site and recommend it to everybody! It's nice having the option to buy a spare pair of glasses and know that it's not going to cost an arm and a leg.

I'm legally blind in one eye, but my vision can't be corrected so I only have one prescription lens in my glasses (and when I wear contacts, I only wear them in 1 eye). I'm very fortunate that I have good vision in the other eye. I see 20/30 without my glasses on as long as I have both eyes open.

wait. for REAL!? Like you give them your prescription and it's frames and lenses and everything cost you 65 dollars?!?! This seems way too good to be true. Of course, you're talking to the girl who has spent HOURS at the eyeglass place trying on every frame in the store....so I guess the drawback is you just have to be imagining what they might look like actually on your face. But I would love to have a few different style frames. I never thought I could afford it! Thanks for sharing, I definitely will have to check them out.

Yes! $65 for THREE pairs, total! Definitely check it out! The site even has the option for you to upload a picture of yourself so you can "try them on" and instructions on how to measure your current glasses so you can buy frames that are comparable in size. I have quite a few friends who have bought glasses from this site and I tried a few of their pairs on, just to see how they fit, and they've all been great. I hope you find something you like!

Oh yeah I've def heard of them but I never got around to actually ordering from them. I just got these funky striped glasses (cheap drugstore readers that I put my prescription in) but I should prolly get basic black ones too for when I want to pretend to be mature.
