I always find it ammusing that I get horroscopes that say to stop spending right after I just bought something 'big'.

The cruise sounds amazing!!!

As for the stopping when you are married, no, that's not always true. If you marry someone who also likes to travel and both of you can take the time off then you can travel just as much. But when you have kids, everything slows down. Not always because it has to, but because it's a PITA to drag kid, carseat, stroller and a million pounds of baby stuff through the airport, expessially with security as it is right now. All that said, I am looking forward to when mine are big enough to sit still on a flight (another downfall to traveling with kids) so we can travel again. I miss it and cannot wait to take my kids places.

....er, and for the record. It is good advice. It's not over when you get married and have kids, but it usually slows down greatly.

I completely believe what you are saying. Finding the man that loves to travel seems to be my problem though. None of the guys I've ever dated like to travel much, or at least don't seem to like it.

The current one seems a little more into it, but only to select places within the US. Definitely nothing international, which is my favorite.

whoo hoo for travelling! It's advice like your grandmother's that I think keeps some people afraid of getting married and "settling down". Who needs it I say!!

Have fun!

haha! I'm wondering if my grandma regrets giving me that advice. She keeps asking me when I'm going to settle down and I keep telling her I'm having too much fun ;)

I think I will eventually, but if I die a well traveled cat lady, I think I could be just as happy.

Man, I had all the same problems that you are with your crown. My mouth ached for weeks because of a bad temp. Make sure to tell them if the real crown is uncomfortable! I didn't, and now my bite is off because of it.

I can definitely tell my bite is off with this one, and it hurts a lot! I am going to be uber picky about the permanent one. I've actually had a crown on this tooth for quite some time, and it's never bothered me. I was just getting it replaced because the dentist said the other one didn't fit well enough to prevent additional decay. I'm thinking he was full of it and just wanted $$. :\

Just finished New Moon - I'm slow :) I probably won't read Breaking Dawn til it gets to paperback, but maybe I will. I need to order Eclipse today. I liked New Moon better than Twilight, but it was predictable - I guessed all the stuff about Jacob. Anyway :) They are pretty good, but I was just telling my mom that it can't compare to the writing in HP!

I definitely can't compare it to HP. I love HP so much more. If you don't want to wait for paperback, you could probably put your name on the list at the library and it would be available by the time you finish Eclipse.
