lol! If they don't make acceptable accommodations for their error I will definitely have to demand some kind of refund or something. Who knows, maybe I could get a free voucher and use it towards another trip? I could come over and we could go out for a drink ;)

Where is your perspective, Gal? nancytoday February 10 2008, 04:58:43 UTC
Things could definately be worse. Why, you could instead be surrounded by white sky, white snow and blackish grey trees.

Breathe deeply of the Italian air. Is it as polluted as they say it is in Switzerland over the border?

Step out of the airport and bask in the sunshine.

Take a bus all around town between flights.

I know, I know, I'll go put a sock in it.

Have a fun trip!

I know, I know, one minor hiccup in the whole plan. I'm just a control freak and a worrier. I'm just scared to get stranded in a foreign country where I don't know the language.

Not sure about the pollution there. Haven't ever been to Italy ;) I guess we shall see.

You could always take a train! Me and Nick had the best time on the trains. Its wonderful to see the country go by. I am sure its beautiful that time of year. (WOW...I sound like my Mom used to sound when we would drive up to Bear Lake, and I just thought, I am never going to think driving is beautiful).

lol!! I know that's an option and it was our original plan, but when we booked the flight it was so much cheaper to just fly out of Venice rather than take the train (like $200 cheaper or something), plus we wouldn't have to worry about a 6 hour train ride. Oh well. We'll figure it out.

How you doing?

Yikes! I hope it gets straighted out without too much hassle. Good luck!
