Thanks so much for posting this; it was tough not to be in the city to see all of the memorials. I did wear my "I heart NYC" shirt all day and took a few moments to pray for the folks we lost. Before I left I made it a point to visit the World Trade Center and take it all in again. For all of the people we lost, hundreds were saved by the bravery of the NYPD, FDNY, and the citizens of NYC. I can't believe that I was so close (I was on 11th St, and Fourth Ave.) to such a horrible event.

From all this, the Navy just commissioned the U.S.S. New York made from steel from the towers. She sails in November from NYV harbor and folks will be able to visit it. When my computer gets back into action, I will definitely post the pics, she's beautiful.

Your welcome, I can't even begin to imagine what it must of been like in NY that day. My husband lost friends in the pentagon that day as well ( ... )
