Go pop some popcorn, pop open a soda, get comfy because this thing is freaking long because I needed to ramble and ramble and ramble some more...

When pulled in two directions and forced to choose, which way do you go?

WoW...

we all have work war stories... usually not this bad... well... ya know... if that is what makes you happy overall and in the long run... power to ya;)

Though its not my mission, as it is to another friend of mine, make sure you have some time to relax, spend with yourself, your friends, you S.O., your family, and your beliefs.

Anybody with war stories from work should share, quite interesting to read, and we can all gain support, advice, and sometimes humor by reading these.

That whole thing must be extremely frustrating... you are absolutely right about the fact that this guy is being irresponsible. Everyone has a family; he should've taken that into consideration before he took the job. Good for you for sticking up for yourself when your boss tried to blame you for something that obviously wasn't your fault. As far as telling a higher authority about the problem: do you guys have evaluations or something like that? We fill out evaluations for our coaches and for every class at Kzoo; I don't know if other schools have similar things. If an opportunity arose in which you knew your complaints would be private and not made public to the other people you work with, then you'd be safe. It's a risky situation. One day in the (not too far off) future, you'll be in his position (in charge) and I know you'll do a much better job. Hope things get better!
