Am I getting old or are people just getting stupider?  I'm on a really sweet board on cafemom where we discuss our pregnancies and there seem to be some really nice people on there, but I don't know if it's ignorance, not caring, or just plain stupidity that makes people post some of the things they do!

Well, I have no clue about the "Stella" reference. It may be because I'm Danish, though.

However, I don't think intelligence can be measured in knowledge. I mean, there's simply too much knowledge out there. Someone might be a bit of an ignoramus when it comes to movies but be an absolute genius when it comes to... I don't know... agriculture? XD So, yeah, I wouldn't sweat that.

I understand the whole thing about different types of knowledge, because I, for one, am technologically ignorant on lots of stuff! LOL I think it just irks me how atrocious the grammar and spelling of so many people is these days. I admit I'm anal about that kind of stuff though.

As for the pregnancy, thankfully everything is going well and I'm so excited to meet my little boy! Thanks for asking!

Oh, I understand the bit about spelling/grammar. I mean, I admit that I can occasionally be lazy on IM (especially if I'm holding a baby) but as a general rule, being coherent is good.
