Awesome! Congrats! I'm so glad you finally have a permanent job - I know you've been stressed about it, so I'm glad it's finally happened.

it's not like the other SGs. it's a different format. not saying that's bad ... it's just different. i'm waiting for something to happen on the show or not happen on the show as the case may be, for me to just want to chuck it. so far, it's good ... it's just not great. for me.

Maybe that is what draws me to it so much. I only watched a little of the original SG, then loved the fun, silly, adventure of SGA and of course was a huge fan of the very dark and realistic Battlestar Galactica (I know not a Stargate show). But this show has that more muted tone to it that BSG did ...

Man I need to increase the font size.......! :O

I really liked Eureka this season, too. It wasn't as funny as last season, because I felt like there were fewer one line funnies. But I really liked the twist of the season and the dynamics it created and the different character stuff. especially Jo and Zane.

and congratulations on the job! security can be an very good thing, though it reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from BSG: When you were CAG, you protected your people; made them feel safe enough to be brave.
I always like that - feeling safe enough to be brave.

OH my heart is breaking for Jo. But I do like seeing her grow and their relationship perhaps get to be rebuilt...?? and in a different way that she is more than ready for. Before he just was always a few steps of her so this could be good for them in the long run. Since I LOVE them as a couple and HATE the little flirt he is doing with Zoe. ICK So I cannot wait to see what happens.

And I'm glad that while Dr. Grant is gone - it doesn't mean he's gone for good. I loved seeing them bring Beverly back after 2 seasons of her absence. Nice little switch up. And for Alison it was a lovely gift to have her son be able to truly communicate with her. So it was a great season. And of course if they hadn't have done the time jump, Carter might STILL be pining for Alison in his lonely office.

Plus? We get to see Kavan Smith regularly again!

I have to agree - I hadn't thought about Jo and Zane getting to rebuild their relationship with her in a different place - but that's totally possible and would be really interesting. You know me, I just like when it's tangled and painful so that kiss at the end that was such a good kiss and then he asks why didn't it feel like a first kiss - I loved that so much. The longing and the chemistry and her guard up and his curiosity - it was all very interesting.
and, yes, even though he even said he's just milking Zoe's crush to mess with Carter - still wrong. though, could be interesting to see how he's going to break her heart.

what's wrong with me ;)

I like them bringing back older people - like Beverly - but I despise Beverly so much, not quite as much as Rush but definitely more than Camille - that I'm never glad to see her.

and yes - Kavan Smith! totally fun.
