Where are Mommy and Daddy Gilmore? Still on their summer long trip I guess
Well, Emily & Richard just left. This episode is 2 days after the s6 finale, the premiere is the next day. I could tell you when they'll be back, but I'm not sure if you want me to do that. Soooooo.....yeah, I miss them tooooooo!
Yeah I had to remind myself that we always see a couple of episodes in the beginning that deal with September. Don't tell me when they're coming back! But I cannot WAIT for Lorelai to have to tell them that the wedding is off. OH BOY.
I'm out of the loop on current events...what's going on in North Korea?
Sorry I had to jump off the phone on you girls Friday night...I knew that I would want to talk and talk and hear what you thought, ect...and I had to get up at 6am on Saturday so I had to jet so I wouldn't lose track of what time it was and what I was doing. Hopefully we can make up for that every other Friday of the season! ;) You're stuck with me!
It's okay - we'll catch up another time! North Korea conducted a nuclear test yesterday despite several warnings from Nations around the world and the U.N. This is very very bad. The country is heading towards war and from what I can gather led by a madman.
Well she phrased it that they don't want to "have to". Meaning that if they wish to work part time or start her practice slowly - or do a joint venture - that they could. They will be getting a hefty amount from the sale of this house and of course have their investments and what not.
And while I support both parents being totally active, I just don't know if having them both home all of the time is going to be good. But then again maybe it will be. I just think that it will be a bit smothering.
That's funny! Sorry for the late reply!! What is ironic is that ever since my sister had the baby - which has been about 18 months now - she's only worked about a month's time total. There have been other thing that kept her from going to work. So the two of them have been home with him pretty much since he was born. And they do have a very active life - but still.
Either way - they are going to do whatever they think they need to do and I can only say goodbye to them and do what I can do to stay in close contact. You know?
Something like, "They don't watch Battlestar Galactica!" as a way to prove that he was more knowledgeable about space and what not [because we have to assume that he DOES watch].
I don't like that Lane is pregnant but her rant about sex being bad and the conspiacy was funny.
I do hope in the end that Lorelai and Luke end up together. I just don't like her and Chris.
I think you may be right about Ben and Juliet. There seems to be more of a connection between them than just leader and follower.
I'm glad Alex is doing well in soccer.
It's got to be really hard having your sister and family move so far. I'm sure they have their reasons but it's just going to be difficult to adjust to. Of course I'm not telling you anything you didn't already know. Her telling you that she thinks Alex would prefer to be close to her son than your mom is pretty harsh though. What are you supposed to do about that? Just my 2 cents.
I want a new cell phone too but we want a new provider too and it's too soon to switch without a penalty.
I wonder what the connection between Ben and Juliet is, eh? One more day!
I get why we may see Christopher and Lorelai perhaps try again - but ultimately I do believe that she and Luke are the ones that are meant for each other. If that exists on this show. The romance of perhaps revisiting that "first love" feeling is one that is hard to shake, but I believe that Lorelai will recognize finally the difference between familiarity of the past and the real big up love she had/has with Luke. They just need to learn from their mistakes and get their timing right.
