I hate the fact that so many house hunts turn into ebay bidding wars. Honestly that was the thing that made me the craziest when searching for my home.

I'm hating that too. I want a house that isn't crap, but I'm not going to fight ten others unless I really want it. The floodplane thing was just the "run screaming" icing ont he cake.
We will find a house. We own the condo, and the frist time homeowners thing will be gone in Nov. So less people looking then.
