Otome road

Ikebukuro is known as Otome Road because of the doujinshi shops catering to female clientelle. I thinnk the idea was to stay away from Akiba and all of the shops catering to guys. There are quite a few BL shops there (hence the name), plus other shops in the area, including the 8F Animate and the Tora no Ana and one of the Volks showrooms. On both Sundays that I was there was a group of GothLoli types hanging around outside the K-Books.
