Haha someone said like "It's Bones." Look at what they've done to FMA...its strayed off from the manga in a whole other light. I think its also cuz Ouran anime was heavily based on the manga for the first 24 episode and then suddenly they have to conclude with "their" own ending using reference to the manga here and there.
I still say it wasn't that bad ahah...just not that special ouran feel tho. For that crying part...maybe cuz it ended and there won't be anymore (unless they have second season...) ;___;
Ah it was okay, they had to end it...since the manga seems to be on going, right? They had to give some sort of ending, makes me wish that sometimes they'd make anime for certain series' when the manga has ended. The father's discussion at the end amused me XD.
XD Just dropping by, but I thought about it also. I'm glad it was a happy ending because it included each member of the club. The daddy talk was also hilarious. Most likely it was a quick ending since the manga is still going on, but I do hope that this points towards a Tamaki/Haruhi relationship, since it's always unsure. I'm glad they fixed it because I thought 25 was a retarded episode XD;
As for crying... I know I was PMSing during the time I watched it (that makes me quite emotional), but I also really teared up during the parts about Tamaki's family situation, and how it related to Haruhi. Whenever I hear about parent-children relationships I get really sappy (ie: Lord of the Rings II). It was also sad to think that maybe he could have met his mother, but he chose Haruhi (and the club?) over her. *sniff*!
I'm glad that the manga is still going, so the ending might hopefully have a more finite closure. Seems to me the only one keeping him from seeing his mother again is his grandmother. Maybe they'll touch more on that section in the manga? *has no idea what I'm talkng about anymore*
I want there to be more TamakixHaruhi love~~!!! It seems like it will be a while till the manga ends, ala Fruits Basket style. But in the anime it seemed like his grandmother was willing to let him see his mother again if he married Eclaire and thus got the money for the family/company. I think the fact that he chose the club and Haruhi over that chance to see his mother was really sweet though. I'm sure by then he knew that his mother was well taken care of as Eclaire's housekeeper, so he didn't have to worry about her health, etc. He really loves the club/members, and that's so sweet ^^
The manga seems to have trailed onto a totally different storyline, so we shall see what happens there.
