Learning to Knit Socks

Since my sister in law and mother in law taught me how to knit last Christmas, I've pretty much stopped cross stitching and only done knitting projects.  It's so much easier to do and take with you.

Today I start a four week "Learn to Knit Socks" class at the Yarn Lounge, a great local knitting store that has fantastic yarns.  I'm very excited.

Nancy has been in to knitting socks. She buys this crazy expensive yarn for them. Ellen has been knitting the weirdest things, I should get her on here and posting pics. She's settled down now and is doing like hats and stuff but it was like sushi and the Mario mushrooms and such, oh and the great chuthulu.

That's so cool! Would you mind asking Ellen where she gets her patterns? I knit a squid. Mario mushrooms and sushi sound pretty cool, too.

I will ask her. I'll be seeing her on Saturday. I know her current projects are coming from books but I think her weird things were from online.
