I'm a TA again this fall for BNFO 601: Introduction to Bioinformatics.  This year we have 16 students in a computer lab designed for 12.  It's a little crazy.  I'm trying to get the students to turn in problem sets (optional) so that we have a better idea of how students are doing.  The first one was due today.  So far 5 students turned it in and

I really don't like the "this car will be unmanned" sticker. It's like a kid bragging that they have a toy that you don't, and won't let you play with it. I really don't think it's very Christian.

I do like the Perl quote, though. It is indeed magical. You should print out this xkcd for the students.

I have considered getting the xkcd comic on a tshirt. It's one of my favorites.

That's pretty much how I feel about the sticker, too.
