The key is the rarity, I'm sure... and that it's for charity helps a bit.

I suspect the charity part helps a bunch, but the rarity doesn't hurt. Plus, these are things people have read and enjoyed the strips from, so-o-o...
Though, I do wonder if they'll actually get the money some of this art is being bid up to.
(I'll be honest, I still want to get a Twisp and Catsby print, even though they'll be $80~ US)

I understand the not wanting to get into art as a business. 5 years at an art high school taught me two things 1)I didn't want to go to art in colledge 2) I didn't want to do art for money.
I've only reciently found the art for money thing not to be a totally horrible blow to my ego
