About all I'll say about work is I seem to have been given a task + free reign--as in, "Julie, scan these!" "Okay--how should I go about it?" "lol i dunno!" =| which is fine [I guess?] but weird, and certainly doesn't dispel the feeling of "I'm getting paid to sit" I'd like to avoid ['cause eventually they fire those people ( Read more... )

[Spoiler (click to open)]I'm thinking that if the prisoners can all talk on day one-- they could all agree that when each go into the room, they turn it on. If the light is already on, they leave it alone. Now, they select one person to do the opposite, turn off the light when that person enters the room. So... if they do it right, when the person turns off the light for the 99th time, they know all the prisoners have been there?

Oh! I think its that if any prisoner revisits the room, leave the switch alone regardless of position? Effectively they only flip it once?

Nooooot quite... I know I'm being picky, but it really does change the parameters if you don't get the exact phrasing. Coding's the same way, and that's kinda all this is--a really big circuit 9_9
