Shit. Did you guys lose Cartoon Network, too? X/ I only see their shows listed as On-Demand. Also, if the tracking's accurate, I seem to have already lost two pieces of mail to "undeliverable as addressed/no forwarding address" bullshit. What the hell do I do, though? I think that aside from the obvious irritation factor (although most parents get this weird acquired deafness), the squalling assured that the baby would receive immediate attention and a swift remedy to whatever was ailing them. I think much of that response has died out since humans became less likely (at least in most "urbanized" settings) to be exposed to predation.

That's what I figured, that "OH SHIT STOP THAT THERE IS DANGER OUT THERE" got replaced by, "Are you done yet?" =p Because civilization puts this huge demand on people in the workforce that babies are a distraction from. Cavemen basically had all day to be baby playtoys.
