Here's the rub:

There are obvious advantages to having certain qualities, such as being tall, good-looking, and rich. Depends on which stylist gives the better deal. Bob stikes me as the casual economy kind of place that charges about $13-15 for a cut (maybe with a shampoo) while Di sounds like one of those name brand $30+ cuttery places.

Well, SUBJECTIVELY I suppose you could go to either one you wanted, but there's a logical reason to prefer one over the other... =/ [though, based on the subjective judgment of the riddle, I guess]

Since Bob and Di are the only two hairstylists in town, they must have done each other's hair, and since Di's is nice, Bob must have done it for her.
