;sdfha;ljgasdfGAH.

College is going to cost me damn near $15k, not including books or scrubs. Thank GOD for financial aid, but yeaaaaaah, I'd love to know how much I'm getting because that's, um, kind of important considering I have to go back to the school on the 28th to set up my schedule and... pay.

I don't think you're being unreasonable! In fact, I think it's quite understandable. Please don't think you're being weird--despite how "lots of people" do it, I know a number who have gotten just as nervous getting ready to go to college--and a number of them haven't had to do all of the planning themselves to get there ( ... )

It is a big deal! You can do it! It's actually a relief to hear that college means a lot to someone else besides me.... Eh, I'm awkward at this but I really wish you the best of luck and I hope you find the college experience to be awesome.

As someone who doesn't have the courage themselves to apply for university... I can understand. And I don't have the years of social anxiety that you have. University is a scary thing! And it's expensive.... and it's so easy to fail...

College is a big deal, even more so that you know what you want to do, considering a lot of kids who go don't really have a concrete idea. My roommate was going to do nursing, but then decided on Japanese (and still doesn't know what she wants to do with it). I know a girl who switched majors three times before settling on the Japanese major, and she too doesn't know what to do with it. At least you have a concrete idea of what you want to do with your life, and that's a better start than most.

As far as doing things other than school, trust me, you'll see that you'll be wanting to do things other than school. Well, at least I think so. I know I'm like that and so are other people. Progress in other things will slow down a little but you'll find that despite your workload you'll still have time to do other things ( ... )

I should add that I never got Financial Aid (not to say you won't, everyone's situations are different, since apparently my family is more than capable of paying but w/e), but I got loans from my school and it gets increased the better I do, which is also something else that can happen.

This is a turning point in your life, ie it's a big thing. Coming from somebody who is somewhat agoraphobic, it is important you're doing this. As well, good luck with your finances. :)
