I'm considering investing in Phoenix Wright for my DS when I feel like spending the money. Is this a worthwhile investment?

YES.

I CANNOT STRESS HOW MUCH YES.

But okay, lemme give it to you straight; it's a very linear game. You can't move in the game unless you find certain information or evidence out. It's a visual novel, so you read a LOT, especially during trials which is nothing but cross-examining witnesses to pick apart testimonies. The only way to make the game seem less A-to-B is to screw around in court, present all the shit you can to people, and examine EVERYTHING.

Still, the series is awesome. It's got a ton of great characters (the Judge is fucking AWESOME in an old man nearing senility way), and it's different. Replays are an iffy thing, though, because once you know what's going on, it's not going to change, but I personally think replaying is worth it because the second time around you kind of appreciate it more. But that's just me.

(PS There's always emulators and roms but I didn't say that)

Sounds like my kind of game (I just bought Professor Layton and the Curious Village as a present to myself for not spending any money during the summer, lol). I should be able to get it for what, twenty bucks now? It's been out for a while.

And I'd rather buy the game. I tried the whole rom and emulator thing but it didn't work out for me, haha.

You don't happen to have the Trauma Center games for the DS, do you? I've played the one for the Wii when I was up at school in the fall, and I liked it a lot and I kind of want to buy the ones for the DS.

If you can find the first game in stock, it should be around $15-$20 new. The second and third games are $20 apiece, and the fourth may be $30, but I don't know. I got my copy of that one the day it came out, so I'm not sure if that's the current price or not.

No, but you just reminded me to buy them! I've heard a lot of good things about that series.
