Sorry to hear about the drives. I know from experience how annoying that is.
Umm... I don't mean to smartass, so just hit me if you already tried it, but how about re-installing the drives' drivers? It's just, that's what fixed the problem for me, and Windows'd be able to stay where it is.

And damn, that AC sketch is gorgeous. It's so nice to see Cloud not looking criminally young for a change. Also, I want to nibble on his biceps. It looks so... purrdy. But you didn't hear me say that. XD

Oh, dude, in all the AC books I've seen so far, it looks like the movie totally killed people's conception of frail!girly!Cloud. That makes me SO SO HAPPY. (I'm going to scanlate this book. It's so short, but man it is really really purdy and pretty funny. And I totally agree with you, rawr.)

Thank goodness. I'm all for frail!girly!Cloud when he's omfg like 14 and doing his Sephiroth worshippy routine, because that makes me go squee and want to squish him. But game? Movie? No-no. Cloud = da man. (Even though he's still uke to everyone else. *nods*)

I'm also strangely attracted to his nose. It's got to be the prettiest nose ever.

I AM DA LAW!!!! *coughs* Ahem. Hmm... I think that professional translators would rather do it so the speech sounds more natural (American?) and less literal than scanlation groups, which can be either a good thing or a bad thing, depending, so righteous would make more sense in that context, I think. Maybe. But if a character's going around using nothing but polite speech, they should... y'know, speak formally, not colloquially. English-speakers DO speak politely as well sometimes, wtf.

That is kind of weird. Maybe they did it because of that... "their destiny was foreordained" thing, so they thought Harbinger fit better?

It's pissing me off royally. I mean... volume 5 came out in Japan last year, so there's no reason why ADV can't at least do up the fourth. =/ Are they dead or something?

I share your CD/DVD drive problems. My PC likes to destroy my burned discs if I try to watch them.
