2299: Mysterious Ways
Casa Japanesey Kosmokrator, Take Two: No accidents to report ^^
So we played scads of UNO while waiting for DEM WUFFS [musewolf] to return, then made the mistake of starting a round of "ARGH YUO ARE THINKING TO LONGS" Scrabble... fawxie ended the game, and I think he would have eked into first if he added everyone else's tiles to his hand, but by then it was kinda really late and we just wanted to get Betrayal in for the night.
Side note: Is it at ALL possible to get a truncated link for something on Amazon without potentially fucking something up? It really seems it could be much shorter than that... o_O;
Betrayal is a really interesting game--much like Apples to Apples--but something that really wouldn't get much regular use... much like Apples to Apples :p I actually ended up being the Traitor by virtue of everyone hopping upstairs and exhausing the Upper Level rooms so I had to do this (in character):Father Rock-Hard: HO SNAPS I WAS REALLY LUCKY TO HAVE ROLLED TWENTIES AND NOT FALLEN THROUGH THE TOTALLY COLLAPSED FLOOR IN THIS ROOM!

Wait, all the doors don't actually go anywhere?! I'm stuck here? ...well, damn, I'll just fall through the floor anyway and see where that goes =p

Anyway, two things really sealed my fate at that point:
- shingallon deciding to swing the next-to-last room away from mine, leaving me stranded in the Collapsed Room
- landing in the Pentagram Room after falling through
- [less so, getting the Dog omen, though that decided which endgame we played]
The second, and my subsequent failure to pass the Haunt roll, locked me as the Traitor, and the first secured the Heroes' victory. Pretty much, the house was entirely laid out to make it the most difficult for me to possibly win, and as cool as it would have been to be the Traitor and win on my first play, it just didn't happen :(
Of course, that was a pretty weird twist, that my character spontaneously decides, "Hey, I'll possess all the others and have my own personal slaves FOREVAR!!!ON!E! LOLOLOLOLOL" @_@
I managed, during the night, to finish one-and-a-half portraits in my pocket sketchbook [the nice hardbound one, not the NeoJank ones], so at least that's something. I'm kinda dead, though, so I'm prolly turning in early, since there's no new [to us] L&S for at least another week yet :/
I got more mews pics, also, which will be appended as I pick them off the memory card.
