I'm a quiet appreciater of Fincher's work - Panic Room isn't bad (enjoyed Foster and Whittaker especially) but you must must MUST see Zodiac, which is fuckin' awesome, and has both Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Junior, thus pissing all over Panic Room from the off.
