The bad news is, I've yet to find a job. The good news is, I have more prospects and more motivation than I did a week ago (encroaching rent will do that to a person). The other good news is that QFC is looking promising. It'd be deli, so more food service, but there is the advantage of the five-minute commute, the possible employee discount on

I gave up on NaNoWriMo a while ago since I had Orycon and was really sick for a while. I'll still eventually finish the fic though (or Cassie will beat me to death with one of my drawing books.)

I managed to do the whole "slow and steady" thing, at which I am still rather astonished. I'll hit 50k either tonight or tomorrow morning (but it's already tomorrow morning - heh heh, oops), and finish the story not long after. I think I'll push ahead for it tonight. I haven't done much late-night writing in a while, and it always turns out better....
