It's an older movie (at least 10 years by now, I think), but you'll see the ties to this story right away.

The bathtub always seems a reasonable idea... until the creature no longer fits. o_O

Ohhhh, that explains it. I didn't have a TV ten years ago. I probably heard friends talking about it, though, that was the period when I listened in on movie conversations to see what I was missing.

Awww. I think they skipped the bathtub in this for fear of discovery; they used a jar and then a bucket, and then went straight to the "haunted pond". But I can just see their moms' faces if they had.... ;)
