new developments
i have not had the urge to write in here for ages, but tonight somehow i do. i moved mostly across the country to colorado. i am well-pleased with colorado, and i am surprised that i was brave enough to move to a state where i know no one. actually the person i know that lives closest to me is an ex-boyfriend i have no intention of ever talking with again. ah, irony.
i also decided to attend grad school here, which has had the pleasant effect of making the cross-country move an awful lot easier. i also have a dear friend convinced to move here as well, but considering that he's a bit more practical than i am, he's waiting until he has the money to move. along with the change of scenery, i decided to give up my car. now i have an adult tricycle, a bus system, and feet. in the hot weather, it's not going as well as planned, but i'm optimistic. plus with the mountains visible from my balcony, i haven't been able to be too sad about much for very long.
