Since I've only seen season 1 now, I'm afraid to watch BSG icon communities for fear of spoilers, so I had to make my own icons.  :)  There are a couple inside jokes for fans of both series, i.e. fans most likely over the age of 35...  How many of those are there on LJ?  Show of hands...  Um, anybody?

I love Netflix.  We rarely have to wait long for the DVDs we want, there's a one day turnaround so we get them fast, their selection is fantastic and the few times when they didn't have what we wanted, we put in a request and they got it.  Every member of the family has their own queue now, so no more shuffling things around in the queue to make ( Read more... )

1. I'm strangely saddened that Wolverine didn't win Top Chef.  Yes, he was intensely annoying, but I kinda liked it.  Sort of like when your gums are sore and it makes you want to keep poking them with the toothpick... Ahem. Well, anyway...

I finished watching the Battlestar Galactica miniseries and I'm waiting for the next DVD of season 1.  I wrote down some of my thoughts about it, my point mostly being how even though I was a fan of the original series, the two shows are so different that I don't really feel a need to compare them.
