Thought writing would make him more Mellow

He wailed at the Moon

Some Thought him a Loon

And he vowed to be a more happy Fellow.

Well, I could not comment on all of them and this is as far back as I got. What makes life worthwhile and you make no mention of sports? Cynical as we may be about the present day dope addicts playing the game, we never had more excitement in our lives than when the Yankees were peaking in the early 60's, the late 70's and the late 90's. Let's not forget the Knicks of 69 and 73, probably the most intelligent athletes ever to share a floor and ball, or for that matter in any team sport.

PS Stay out of the limerick business.

My limericks seem to be getting mixed reviews. I've gotten complaints about the fact that I haven't done more. I've also been advised to expand my horizons to Heiku. I've also been pleaded with to stop.

So I've decided that whenever a bad rhyme comes into my head,
That day before I go off to bed,
I'll write it down,
and seem like a clown.
And listen to my own advice instead.
