Agh, poor everybody. I wish I'd waited just a little longer for this, but having something awesome to read first thing in the, uh, afternoon is <3 too.

My characters have a way of running away with me sometimes. I needed Torian to be a cold and officious bastard obsessed with power and political standing. Then that annoying little writer in my brain demanded to know, "But, whhhhhyyyy?" This story is not finished yet. At the pace I have been writing recently we should have the rest of it about a week before my 60th birthday. :P

And by then it'll have grown even further. On the bright side I'll have something to look forward to reading even when I'm aged and decrepit?
