YAY SQUID!

Were the wavy lines difficult to sew? They're awesome--I love the way they're irregularly spaced and criss-cross-y, like, well, actual water.

YOU COULD CALL IT A SQUILT. For squid quilt. Heeeeee.

Wavy lines are super easy to sew. They make an awesome background for quilting, really. You can put anything on top of it!

Thank you! I am so interested that I've gotten so many comments on the quilting in this one given that almost all of my art quilts have used the same technique for the quilting. I wonder why this one stands out.
