Wound up

Mar 24, 2014 09:37

I had a great weekend, but now my brain is whizzing at HIGH speed and won't stop. I am excited. I have lots of ideas, but I'm also FUCKING EXHAUSTED because I didn't get enough sleep over the weekend. I went to sleep at 1 and got up around 8 Sat/Sun (which isn't too awful), but last night I fell asleep after 11:30 and woke up at 4. Yes, you read ( Read more... )

A day of Tom and Colin (and Nicole too!!! )
Its making a very dreary day (the country is going down the gurgler) much brighter

Both interviews were lovely for different reasons, Tom for talking about his (and John Nobles) voice and Skinny Jeans (and the writers for giving us the gift of all gifts - backstory), and Colin, well, for the entire interview I think.
I think Richard Wilson said Colin's an old soul, and more and more I think he's right.

Tom is just so ... I don't know. He always makes me laugh when I see him in interviews. God, I have a thing for Tom and the devil's trousers. :D

Colin is definitely not the same as many of his generation, I think. I don't feel he's an old soul, exactly, but outside the contemporary timeline, if you will. I love his dedication to craft.

As happy as I was to see pictures of the man, I am much happier with interviews. <3

EEEE. Ok, that would be awesome. I will see if I can fix it up a bit before I sic it on you. Thanks bb.

Like I said elsewhere, I didn't really find the interview to be 'real'. It felt much too corporate, not personal at all except for the last answer. Like someone took Colin's answers and shaped them into something else. He might actually agree with what was written but him saying it like that... nah.

Really? You didn't feel like the last two paragraphs or so were genuine Colin?

The last question, yes. The one about celebrity culture, not so much. It feels like a lawyer wrote it after listening to what Colin had to say and making it more corporate. If you listen to Colin's interviews, he just doesn't talk like that. He might feel like that but saying it that way, no.
