It makes me so sad to see people refer to LJ as being dead. I guess I am lucky that MS fandom is alive, well, and thriving.

I have nothing valid to add, dear. I suck. LOL. Twitter is the home of drama and the few problems we have in MS so that's why I stick to LJ. I'm just too old and grumpy for that shit. I used to try and chase everyone down who left LJ for Twitter because I do miss them, but it's a losing battle sometimes.

I'm just doing the best I can, and mostly here on LJ.

Having said all that, I'm very happy YOU are here on LJ. You make it a wonderful place to be. xx

Nah, you don't suck. I think you do admirably! Trying to chase people down seems like a Sisyphean effort, honestly. Not sure it's worth it any more. I don't see too much wank over there, but it's entirely possible it passes me by. I'm pretty oblivious.

I skim twitter these days and only go on Tumblr for the pictures. The few times I talk about something personal on LJ, I use a group listing.

Well, some platforms call them filters, some call them other things. I didn't know how to refer to them. I'm just not *that* savvy.

I definitely have filters for locked entries, but I rarely lock.

Twitter is so easy to get sucked in to. It's kind of like quicksand. LOL. Tumblr is mostly fun for the pictures. So frustrating to actually try to talk to people on Tumblr. Ugh.

My lj does not have a lot on it, but I use xkit and tumblr savior on tumblr. I try and treat it like a snapshot, but i am terrible about backreading and I really need to stop doing that. :p

I think I need to do better about not backreading as well. It is something that is easy enough *not* to do. Twitter at least has "connect" which will show you when someone mentions you, but Tumblr, gah. It's easy to miss things on Tumblr and I HATE that. On the other hand, LJ has apparently been wonky about notifications (again) lately:P

With my full-time job now, I don't have as much time (or patience I suppose) to go on Tumblr as much. I still do like going there for pretty images and I reblog those I want on my Tumblr. I got a tablet for Christmas and I find it easier to surf there than go on my laptop (which is nearing the time to replace it I think

I rarely go back and look at stuff on my Tumblr, but it is easy enough with tags to go find things I want, so I like that.

People on LJ just don't post that much. LJ is not a problem for me.

Crafting your spaces online seems very clever hon. I just have time to squeeze in LJ these days, between work and study and family life. I think what you manage just rocks.
