We had some snow that came right after the STORM TIDE last week (thankfully it's to warm now and it thawed) and I'm already fed up with winter. Looks like we'll have milder temperatures (and rain) till/over Christmas and although I could do without the rain, I'm fine with that. If I don't have to see another snowflake for the next five years or so, it'll be too soon. #Iwantspring
Ugh. I just hate the trapped feeling. I mean, one snow day is fine, but when it drags on for days, I hate that. I will get out today, before more stuff comes tomorrow. Winter *just* started, so I can be patient for a bit :D
It just feels like we had winter (+ a more or less closed snow cover for the majority of this period) for nearly 6 months last year (the last snow thawed in April!!!) and it was quite similar the year before. I just can't deal with another winter like that atm. I'm supposed to live in a 'moderate climate' and not THE ARCTIC. :P
Oh yeah. When winter hangs on for that long, it's interminable. Agreed! When I lived in NY, we sometimes had snow in May. UGH UGH UGH. Love living in VA where the climate is much milder.
Also, damn Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie for being so adorable.

We got a bit of snow here as well, but no snow day for us. Ours wasn't icy like yours appears to be though.

Yeah, the ice is no good. And now they are calling for more snow tomorrow. Ugh. One snow day is good, two is not. :D
