I just get tired of being disgusted with myself for being imperfect and after 42 years, it's getting a little old. I need to let go of that a little, you know what I mean?

One of the things I've wrestled with in my Christian ethics lately is this idea that we were good, perfectly, completely sufficient within ourselves, wasn't so good - we need room to let other people in, and quite often the wedge that opens up that space is a need or desire we can't meet all on our own.
I don't know what's up with the waking at 3am all hot, but it's been going on for a while. Maybe I should try taking magnesium like dh suggests. I tried it once and slept worse. LOL.
