I have an extremely busy weekend ahead. I have already hit the CSA pickup for my friend and two grocery stores. Yeah, exactly. I mean, I don't feel the need to be paid to feel fulfilled, not at all. But when people start asking, it's a different story.

AWESOME! Can you leave that info on the line remix entry"? It will be a few days before I can get to it to as well.

I don't get paid for anything either....
although extra money would be nice, its annoying that it becomes what defines you.

I'm thinking about you're remix, I don't have 21 lines though...

*sigh* But if I'm a successful mom, the kids will grow up and leave me in about 10 years and then what am I left with? LOL. It's definitely important work, but it doesn't define me, know what I mean?

Yay! Glad you liked the pictures.

I intend to have a lovely day. I've even got an audio book to listen to in the car! Thanks:D

I know exactly what you mean. My mum says the same. We're all between 16 and 21 now and that's why she writes and does her volunteer stuff and keeps up with all the computing and things. Mind you, she's always been a groovy mum. One of her LJ friends in England and her are doing this big research project right now and having fun.

You have to be yourself too, as well as a mum. That's essential. (mind you, when I see my mum and my grandma together, I realise how much you never stop being a mum, even when your "child" is 48. I think it's one of the beautiful things in life, that that connection can always be there)

LOL. Yep, you've got it. I am 42 and I still need my mom from time to time. I know that my parents and I have still have a strong connection even though I haven't lived with them for more than half my life now. But yeah, it's good to have something outside of the parenting too. Your mom sounds interesting. I'm glad you get along so well!
