State of squee

I know I owe responses, but I just wanted to quickly say that I am feeling much better this afternoon. Not sure I'm totally out of the woods, but just being reminded of things I can do to boost my mood helps tremendously. I forgot that I asked for other people recently too. LOL.

I was at the allergist this morning and I bumped into a local artist ( Read more... )

:::hugs::: Thanks!

LOL. I have no idea where it will go, but it's kind of fun and exciting to think about getting paid for something I love to do.

So sweet, right? Also, DD1 got in bed with DD2 in the middle of the night last night, so I woke them up together. Eee, so cute. Reminded me of your girls.

<3 <3 <3 Thanks for the encouragement!

OMG. Pavlovla. That's ambitious! Hope you have fun. I'm off to teach beading now.

Aww, That is so like my girls (I had to wake them up this morning and they were together!) its so sweet. and its nice to think of those moments when they are at each others throats

See, I can make a pavlova, but think beading is ambitious!

Heh. Yeah, that was the only time it's happened (so far). We'll see what the future brings!

I have three desserts I make. Pavlova is not one of them.

I actually felt somewhat competent (after disclaiming that I would not use my methods on anything that was going to get any kind of wear:D)

Dude. Maybe that's why I started to feel better. ~~~~sends some back your way~~~~

I went and taught beading to people older and more experienced than me tonight and I actually felt competent. Plus, people who do amazing work oohed and ahhed over my work and I blushed and yeah. After going like five days with no kudos, it was nice to get positive feedback on something I do. <3 <3

Also, if there is anything I can do to help you, please ask.

I am not surprised, you're so creative - that must have been so rewarding for you, I'm happy for you!

I'll be okay. Just gotta keep trying, that's all.

You know, I've basically been quilting in a vacuum for 10+ years. It's my little thing I do in secret, more or less. No one has really noticed much of anything until like six months ago when *boom* people are now really noticing. I am not used to it and it kind of takes me aback, if you know what I mean, but yes, I find it incredibly rewarding. Thank you for being encouraging and part of the process! <3 <3

*sigh* I would really like to be able to do something for you. Would you let me?
