Snow day!

It's a snow day here. Everyone is home. My to do list is something like this: survive. I'm going to go do some quilting. It is also a "better living through chemistry" sort of day. Here, have some gifs.  Arthur and Merlin here, Alex here.

The snow was pretty light overnight, but it's coming down pretty heavily now. I took some pictures an hour ago and I will take some more in a bit and then throughout the day and post pictures later. I'm not a huge fan, but the girls love it!

Drugs, woman. Advil, Tylenol. Coke Zero. I'm standing up and doing stuff, but barely functional. I'm pretty dizzy today:P

Am currently sitting in a train station in Boston waiting for the train that will take me back home. Had to go in town for a State Board of Opticians meeting. It took much less time than I thought it would, so that leaves me with more time for potential writing.

Spent the morning trip in to the city writing a rough outline for the Remix, which helped me to cement what scenes I still need to write and how they will need to flow together.

It really helped me sort of wrap my head around the story as a whole and makes me feel, for the 1st time since I started it, that I really can make this happen! \o/

I have spent the morning sewing. I have nine blocks I can now sew together and put a border on:D I will be posting pictures later.

How much snow are you going to end up with, do you think? We're supposed to get a wintery mix out of that storm tomorrow, I think.

Not nearly as much as they predicted. Six inches tops, is my guess.

Great! The dd's are off at other people's houses, dh is working upstairs and I'm hiding in the basement. Only downside is that I can't listen to anything (without headphones which I'm not feeling like doing), so I'm quilting quietly today:) It's ok.

Frakking hormones. I''m trying to ignore them today. I'm quilting! Almost got the whole top pieced now. Then I get to do the border:) Kids are off at other people's houses. It's working out just fine for me:)
