My friend S. told me an hour ago that her baby will be a little boy. So now I'm brainstormng babyquilt ideas for boys.

That were joyful news.

No hurry. The baby isn't due to july and the baby party won't be before may. So there's plenty of time.

I'm more at a loss regarding ideas for the quilt. There are too many possibililities. Plus it's a boy:) I have the most adorable fabric with aliens and monsters on it - if I can decide he gets a bit of geeky influence in his quilt. *gg* But only about 30 cm. So the rest has to be other fabric. Good thing: I can work with free motion quilting now.

Gonna send you the adress soon. Jut have to get the confirmaton that it's the right one by Aaron:)

Oooh, aliens and monsters. Why do you have such a small piece of fabric? You could just do a patchwork with squares. Also, I could send you some pieces to enhance what you've got, since I'm sending it to a US address.

Let me know if you want to brainstorm some patterns. I was just thinking about rail fence the other day, for a quick quilt (not that I need to make a baby quilt right now).

Today we are celebrating Ariel's 8th birthday. I can't believe she's 8 already. I mean, I can't imagine a time without all three kids but I also find it hard to believe they aren't teeny tiny little things anymore..

Apparently the book is called "Children of the Forest" in English. The illustrations are really lovely! The dad has a fir cone on his head. :)
