Get stuff done

Nov 28, 2012 10:45

Ok, I'm posting this so I can be accountable.  All I want to do is sit in bed and listen to Alexander Vlahos and eat chocolate.  Instead, I'm going to go downstairs and wrangle octopus legs and then I will edit my podfic.  I also have laundry to fold and brussel sprouts to cook.  Can someone send a memo to my head that I no longer need this low ( Read more... )

get stuff done, crafts, to do

I am having a very slow morning. I too have a headache and I know that my friend is coming here in just over an hour to run me to the pharmacy so I can't seem to whip myself into a writing groove just yet. Hopefully when I come back home, I will be ready to settle in cuz I still have a lot to get through!

Gonna try some coffee, hopefully that will perk me up and kill the headache.

Yeah, slow morning is a good way to explain it. I hope you feel better soon. I'm afraid mine is hormonal and there's not much I can do:( It's better than it has been, but still, I'd like it to just go away.

Ugh! The dreaded friggin hormones! They attacked me two weeks ago, I'm safe for another two!

Sadly, I am so headache sensitive that I have several causes that like to come out to play and make my skull throb...sometimes more than one at a time. I get migraines, tension headaches from the muscle spasms from my back/neck/shoulder injuries, TMJ induced headaches, insomnia induced headaches, fibro-headaches, eyestrain headaches, sinus & environmental allergen headaches. So, yeah, not sure which one it is today though it's not a migraine...atm.

Actually, I think this one's from my neck & eyes. That means it might go away later on!

*raises hand* I have multiple reasons for headaches too: hormones, allergies, tmj. I should not be having hormone headaches since I had my period last week, but maybe the hormone stuff carries over? Who knows.

Yay! I hope it does.

I'm behind in reading but I decided to scale back anyway. Now I'm really stuck on my reversebb story. I thought I'd go one way but when I plotted it out, it didn't work. So back to the drawing board!

If you get stuck and want to chat, shoot me an email. I'm not feeling motivated to do anything, but I always love to chat with people about their stories.

Octopus has four legs. I'm trying to figure out how to stick the other four legs down and what shape I want them to be in, so I guess I'm excited about that:)

Have fun!

All fucking day. *sigh* I listened to Alex this morning while cleaning up in the kitchen. *swoons*

LOL. That stuff is so boring and brainless though. I can totally understand thinking about Merlin all day instead.

Aw, thanks! I'm having fun with the octopus now:)

Is there something in the air? I don't want to do anything today either and I would definitely like to munch on some chocolate and have a glass of wine. And I went to the gym, so I have no idea why I'm in this snarky, irritable mood.

I think it must have to do with having had family home for so many days this month. *hands you virtual chocolate and wine*

You know, it's ok to indulge every once in a while. It's just bad to do it every day all the time:) Indulge.

DD1 was in a horrible snarky mood this morning. It was awful. I know that's part of my apathy today, but it doesn't completely explain it.

Maybe re: days at home. Oh, I hate when that happens (DD1). Maybe I will do some more obligatory things and then something fun. Good luck wrangling your octopus legs. At first I thought you were referring to cooking, lol. Then I realized it was a quilt.

:) Yeah, I have obligatory things to get to (laundry, cooking) but I figured I should do fun things today too. Legs are sewn down. Going to iron the fish on now!

LOL. No, I decided not to cook them yesterday.

Kits are good!

Ok, I'd love to hear about it, if you have time.
