Kids have been dropped off and now my ears are ringing, it's so quiet in my house. Ah, the lovely sound of silence. Except, what's that scrabbling noise I hear? Turtles are so cool! I had two when I was a kid, but not at the same time. Sadly both died quite before their time. I hope this fella will be luckier.

Oh, this turtle is ridiculously cute. I should have taken a movie of it trying to escape while standing on his bowl. LOL.

First day was fine. DD2 is asleep, hurray! DD1, not so much:D

Awwww! How do you know it's a baby turtle? It looks pretty big for that. Maybe because of the colours?

And you just let it free at the creek? Wouldn't be possible here...
