Yesterday I spent the whole day watching chicks hatch. I determined not to lose the whole day and be productive. I got stuff done. Most of it was not on the computer, alas;) Laundry, grocery shopping, picking kids up and watching cute little fluff balls and being social with people face to face. I even did a teeny bit of food prep.

I know what you mean about time... we've already may and I ask myself seriously where the heck the last 5 months went. I mean... already half of 2012 is gone... *sigh*
Anyway... back to cleaning - although cheatcleaning because I just have to vacuum and sort through some papers;)
The big stuff will be done tomorrow.

Btw I think it's great that your children can experience hatching chicks and all that directly. Do you live in the city or more in a rural area? Because as great as my parents were/are, in our small appartment it would have been impossible to do such a project.
But your husband's mess means yummy backing for you:)

We live in a pretty suburban area. Our house is 1K square feet. Pretty small, but we don't have any pets, so it's not a problem. We are taking most of the chicks in tomorrow.
LOL. I won't eat most of it. It's for a potluck event over the weekend.
