Skuares pointed out, rightly so, that Gaius would not be shaving Uther, so I cast around in mind and George popped up. Thank you for writing lovely George. He's such a handy fellow!

Well, you can guess I loved the Merthur one the best, but I really enjoyed the others, too. I always felt Merlin had such a complicated, interesting relationship with Uther: I mean, Uther trusted him with his own son, and yet he never quite seemed to figure Merlin out, and vice versa. I always wished for more bits between the two on the show. You really brought out that complex relationship, here.

You are right, they needed to do more bits between Merlin and Uther. I think S3 did the best job with those moments.
